It always seems impossible until it's done.

My first contact with you will be by phone or email when you have let me know that you are interested in starting therapy.

You may have questions or you may be familiar with the process because this is not your first time.

I offer a face-to-face consultation. This allows both of us the opportunity to meet in person and make a slightly more informed decision about whether we are a fit. You can tell me a little about yourself and why you want to be in therapy and I can answer your questions that will hopefully satisfy your curiosity either about me or how I work.

If we choose to move forward with the therapy we will discuss together what you would like to accomplish. I will offer you a set time that you can count on, and at the first session I will give you some paperwork to take home. The purpose and goal of the therapy will be discussed and we will develop our plan to achieve your goals.

Throughout the therapy, we will periodically take a close look at how you feel the therapy is working and make any necessary adjustments.  One of the key components of the attachment based work is to make sure our therapeutic relationship provides a safe, comfortable and confidential environment to enhance and advance our work together.
